Empress the youngest collector of Jamaican vinyl in Australia takes you on a journey through the slow, sexy, spacey melodic dubs of 70s and 80s reggae. Inspired by women vocals on riddims filled with echoes and sirens this musical journey will start from the 60s and go all the way to modern day reggae culture. Holding down residencies at workshop, Edinburgh castle, howler, e55 as well as supporting Mista Savona, Screechy dan, Scratch famous and some of the greatest local DJs Melbourne has to offer. Ellie has most recently played PBS Jamaica Jump Up as well as the first ever Jamaican Food and Music Festival in Melbourne.
